Huber Tree Service Employment Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Huber Tree Service. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for employment with our company. By accepting employment with Huber Tree Service, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
2. Employment Status
- Probationary Period: All new employees will undergo a probationary period of 90 days. During this time, either party may terminate employment without notice.
- Employment Type: Employment may be full-time, part-time, or temporary, as specified in the employment contract.
3. Working Hours
- Standard Hours: The standard working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Overtime: Overtime work must be approved in advance by a supervisor and will be compensated according to company policy.
4. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: Employees will be paid bi-weekly. The salary will be specified in the employment contract.
- Benefits: Eligible employees may receive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans, as outlined in the employee handbook.
5. Duties and Responsibilities
- Job Description: Employees are expected to perform the duties and responsibilities outlined in their job description.
- Performance: Employees are required to meet performance standards and participate in performance reviews.
6. Conduct and Behavior
- Professionalism: Employees must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Safety: Employees must adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Confidentiality: Employees must maintain the confidentiality of company information and client details.
7. Leave and Absences
- Paid Time Off: Employees are entitled to paid time off as specified in the employee handbook.
- Sick Leave: Employees must notify their supervisor as soon as possible if they are unable to work due to illness.
- Unpaid Leave: Unpaid leave may be granted at the discretion of the company.
8. Termination of Employment
- Voluntary Termination: Employees are required to provide at least two weeks’ notice if they wish to resign.
- Involuntary Termination: The company reserves the right to terminate employment for reasons including, but not limited to, misconduct, poor performance, or violation of company policies.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Grievances: Employees are encouraged to resolve any grievances through informal discussions with their supervisor.
- Formal Complaints: If a grievance cannot be resolved informally, employees may file a formal complaint with the HR department.
10. Amendments
Huber Tree Service reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Employees will be notified of any changes in writing.
11. Acceptance
By accepting employment with Huber Tree Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.
